Stelvio is a World Cup downhill piste in northern Italy was built and opened in 1985. It is located on Vallecetta mountain in Bormio and debuted at the World Championships in 1985. For the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, the Stelvio Ski Centre is being modernized to offer around 7,500 spectator spots, including 2,500 seated, 5,000 standing, and accessible spaces, with additional temporary grandstands planned for events like the ski mountaineering debut and Alpine skiing.
