First opened in 2003 on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills as a premier training footprint within a massive 125-acre elite sports complex, Carson Field currently serves as the official, high-performance training grounds for MLS's LA Galaxy. For the upcoming LA28 Olympic Games, this highly specialized, pristine turf environment will be transformed into a world-class temporary stadium venue. Designed to give passionate fans and ticket holders crisp, unobstructed field-side views of rapid-fire stickwork, Carson Field will step proudly onto the global stage as the official, exclusive host venue for all Olympic Hockey (Field Hockey) tournaments and Paralympic Para Archery world events. Carson Field (the track and field facility at Dignity Health Sports Park designated for field hockey and para archery during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics) will have a seating capacity of 15,000 people for the primary field and 5,000 people for the secondary field.
